IDEAL TIP - You can write upon these envelopes with a normal "biro pen", but for best results we recommend you use a Compact Disc Pen which writes upon CD's and is available from most good stationers.
Manufacturing tolerances are given as +/- 2mm in any direction. The speed at which envelope manufacturing machines work together with the vagaries of the raw paper itself can lead to inconsistencies.
